Classes run for 10 weeks January 13-March 28th, and culminate in an open class for parents to observe. No class the week of February 19-23.
We are a blossoming dance school inspired by Marie Morrow’s career performing modern dance in New York City and teaching Royal Academy of Dance in Brooklyn for 10+ years. The philosophy of West Hills Ballet is focused on creativity and artistic exploration to music, getting to know oneself better, and moving in community while still learning proper alignment and strong technique. It is our goal to prioritize joy over competition. Humans have danced together since before the development of language and WHB’s mission is to bring the experience of movement to daily life practice, reveling in our own unique artistic voice.

NUTCRACKER CAMP - NOV 29th - DEC 20th
Come and celebrate this holiday classic of ballet! Learn the music and the sweet story of Clara who travels to the land of sweets during the night with her Nutcracker Prince. Each class will learn unique choreography from the land of sweets to perform on the 20th for families at our end of the year holiday party. Candy Canes, Sugar Plums, Flowers, Mirliton Flutes, Coffee, Tea, and GingerBread Cookies - the holiday celebration of Tchiakovsky's famous score will inspire and excite.
Class time is split 30 minutes with a Nutcracker themed dance class and choreography followed by 30 minutes of craft time also in the Nutcracker theme! Final class and Party on Dec 20th at 5:30pm on the stage downstairs of Hermann Sons Hall.
All families of all classes invited to enjoy a mini performance and Nutcracker Celebration with ballet friends.
